The Shear Pace App is a productivity tool for sheep shearers, eliminating the need for both the tally counter and clock. It takes care of the maths, giving ongoing and constant feedback in relation to shearing speed as well as tallies and run time.
You do goal setting once at the beginning of the day, and you can focus on your technique and therefore, speed, knowing that the app is keeping track of everything else.How it works - look at your sheep, decide on your goal tally, tap in the day length, and Shear Pace will tell you how fast you need to go per sheep.
Tap the screen after every sheep as you would a tally counter, and it counts your tally as well as keeping track of your speed for every sheep - this leaves you free to think about your technique, and not working out how many you did in the last quarter hour.This is the free version.
An upgrade version, which allows you to work out how fast you need to shear for a full day tally will follow, as well as a subscription which will allow you to save your data.
